Hantall were delighted to maintain our high standards and continue to deliver the requirements of our clients.

Once again, this JLR project was finished to a very high standard, earning plaudits from our Client and JLR direct. Jaguar Land Rover’s audit team were once again, highly complementary of the standard of finish and reported this would be the new benchmark for future projects.

Jaguar Land Rover Dealership – Chequers Way, Derby

This dealership is set on a site of approximately 6 acres. This dealership was constructed on a brown field site, a former cattle market auction. The dealership was constructed to the latest JLR corporate identity and is in a very prominent position running along the maid A53 between Derby and Nottingham.

The project period was 36weeks, and all works were carried out to a very high standard and completed on time and in budget. The challenge on this site was the fact that the building was constructed on a flood plain, the building had to be elevated from the surrounded external works and all new incoming electrical services had to be constructed in an elevated position on the perimeter of the site.

The Dealership was approximately 45m x 103m comprising of an 18 Car showroom plus 2 handover bays along with a workshop of 23 Ramps plus 2 x MOT and a tyre changing unit. Within the footprint there was a large administration space at first floor level and all usual JLR facilities including three lane drive through for customer drop offs.

The project was finished to a high standard. JLR’s audit team were once again, highly complementary of the standard of finish and reported this would be the new benchmark for future projects.
